Traditional gasoline engine assembly line solution

The main assembly lines of traditional gasoline engines are divided into the following parts:

Engine interior assembly line: Installation of internal mechanisms in the engine cylinder block. Including crankshaft installation, bearing installation, piston connecting rod installation, cylinder head installation, oil pan installation, oil pump installation, etc.
Engine exterior assembly line: Assembly of external components of the engine. Installation of cylinder head camshaft, VVT and timing sprocket, timing installation, timing cover installation, rear oil seal installation, front oil seal installation, cylinder head cover installation, flywheel installation, generator installation, air conditioning compressor installation, fuel rail and injector installation, fuel pump, spark plug installation, ignition coil installation, intake pipe installation, throttle valve installation, exhaust pipe installation, turbocharger installation, water pump installation, water pipe installation and connection, installation of pulley tensioner, etc.
Cylinder head sub assembly line: cylinder head sub assembly assembly. Including valve oil seal press fitting, valve installation, valve spring and spring seat installation, valve lock clamp press fitting, cylinder head tapping and leak testing, etc.
Piston connecting rod sub assembly: Assembly of piston connecting rod sub assembly. Including disassembly of connecting rod expansion, assembly of piston and piston pin, installation of piston ring, selection of connecting rod bearing, etc.

Key technologies:

Intelligent material rack for bearing shells: Based on the engine QR code, the size information of the cylinder body main shaft diameter is recognized. Then, the crankshaft QR code is scanned to identify the crankshaft main journal information. After calculation, the group information of the main bearing shells is obtained. The corresponding position prompt lights up on the material rack, allowing the operator to select the corresponding bearing shell.
Timing detection: Identify the corresponding markings of the crankshaft sprocket and camshaft sprocket (or pulley) through a visual system. Determine whether there is an angle difference with the timing position.
Camshaft tappet selection: By measuring the distance from the center of the camshaft semi-circular hole on the cylinder head to the top of the valve, and at the same time measuring the corresponding distance from the center of the camshaft journal circle to the center of the cam base circle and the cam lift, the required thickness of the tappet is determined through scientific calculation. The computer transmits the group information to the intelligent material rack, and the operator selects the corresponding lifting column for assembly according to the prompts.
